Our Annual conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel in beautiful Bethesda Maryland. The Bethesda Marriott makes getting around town a cinch with its complimentary shuttle service that takes guests to the Metro's Red Line. Congressional Plaza and Montrose Crossing are less than 15 minutes north of the Bethesda Marriott, a straight shot up Rockville Pike. In the other direction, The Shops at Wisconsin Place is 12 minutes south of the Marriott. One might be interested in the nearby Strathmore museum/music venue or, 40 minutes from the hotel, the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Also, ten minutes to DC and you can enjoy the National Mall, which houses the new Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, as well as the Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting Pool. Prefer public transportation?
Public transportation is easily accessible from the hotel. In addition, the hotel does offer a free shuttle to the metro and limited destinations.
Where can I park at the Conference?
There is plenty of SELF parking at the hotel. Parking is $16/day; however, as an added value parking will be FREE with the early bird special and $5.00 thereafter. Parking Tickets will be validated with registration.
Is there a dress code?
Business casual.
What kind of weather should I expect?
Fall in Maryland is beautiful and a little chilly. You can expect sunny days with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Don’t forget to pack a light to medium weight jacket and layers as temperatures vary from day to night.
How convenient are attractions and alternative food options?
